Passion

To pick a side when one is young is often the way that a team is supported for life.  There becomes such loyalty and passion that whether that team has been successful or not become irreverent.  It is the loyalty for it that makes its supporters passionate for its chance to be all at one with each other.  This passion continues season by season and all its supporters will have memorabilia to wear showing that they are all part of the supporters club and will turn out come rain come shine to be there for their chosen team.

 It is a good thing to learn as one grows up to have the passion to support and it will continue in later life to believe that this team chosen from all the others by this young soul and to be the one chosen for their very own.  There will be more successful clubs and there will be worthier clubs, but union will be from a greater level through life than even marriage or religion.  In a way it will become the religion of that young soul to put that team first and against all the odds expect it to win every week.

 Saturday becomes a special day without girls and without any other deadline, so that one feels instinctively that the band here is more important than the failure of the marriage and if there are children, they need to be born on any day but Saturday!  In time they will all be initiated to become the followers of the club and, as long as they are boys, they will join the supporters and wear the colored scarves in support.  Girls will not be expected to share in these events, as they won’t be believed in having the same interests or passion as their male counterparts.  How could they understand the steadfastness of being loyal to the one club and remain so through thick and thin?

 The loyalty overcomes all other emotions as Peter, who was said to be steadfast to Jesus, boasted of this and was told firmly that before the cock crowed, he would deny Jesus three times.  So, it was famously told when he was accused of being a member of the crucified Jesus’s followers.  He was afraid and chose to deny that he knew him, not once, not twice but three times and then the cock was able to crow.  If you break your loyalty to the team, you cannot be forgiven, but Jesus forgave Peter, who went out with the others and taught the good news when filled with the Holy Ghost.

Standard

 The Standard was the flag that you rallied to in battle.  Once the ranks had broken the fighting was hand to hand and it was important to have something to rally to, so that the soldiers were not lost.  They could rally to their flag or standard.  They were better able to maintain their group and continue to fight together.  It was an alarming place to be exposed and fighting alone in battle.  After the first few hours men become detached from the others and needed a point to concentrate on.  Their leaders would be there giving encouragement and direction to their men.

 At the beginning it was important for each man to know the colors that he was fighting under.  There were no uniforms.  The only control was that each regiment had their own standard, so that the men knew where they were supposed to be fighting.  It was often a bloody affair and men had no other way to see who they were fighting and to gauge how the battle was going.  There may have been a Royal Standard that would show where the King was with his bodyguards.  It was an honor to be named as the Standard Bearer and if it should fall than another had to pick it up and keep it flying for all the troops to see.

 In times of war abroad there could be longish difficulties and just because a man spoke a different language didn’t necessarily mean that he was fighting on a different side.  It became standard procedure for the colors to be shown for all fighting men to see and after the battle it was given as approval for the regiment to be presented with the colors as an adornment to the trophy room and on ceremonial occasions, they would parade them in front of their marching troops. 

 Fighting men needed something to fight for and by honoring them it shown their courage and those who died in the battle were remembered and honored for their actions and remembered by their comrades. It is a sad thing to fight and to put one's life on the line for a cause that may be in vain.  But one's family and friends would be able to show their appreciation and to be proud of the actions of these fighting men.  Twice in history there have been world wars and men have been trained to kill.  Those who came home were never the same, as they relived the horrors of death and destruction.

Arrogance

 This is the colliding of negativity with the ego.  To be arrogant is to be without love and too much ego, so that the whole is full of uncertainty.  Arrogance is the combined form of being, so that it is complexly active against the liking of the whole.  To be labelled arrogant is to be completely unloved.  It is to be totally left alone with the exclusion from the whole of the one sure thing of being unloved.  To be unloved is to be as one in the wilderness, where the total is another form of being.

 No one likes the cowardly state of being unloved to be in a state of one’s own combination of having negativity of two sides of the same coin.  Here the nastiness is allowed to get out of hand, so that there is no room for unconditional love.  The total being is of leaving the soul in a state of overbearing negativity and that is lost to the whole.  Here it is given to be arrogant against all the odds, so that there is no goodness allowed in the total being of the soul.  All is lost to the greater good and there is no common ground left to negotiate.

 To have the label of arrogance is to be lost to the common man and it is indifferent to holiness against the rule of God’s goodness, so that there is no positive energy to be allowed in the whole stream of good things.  To be arrogant is to be left without any positive features that can be called upon by the greater good and all is lost in the higher levels of love and harmony.  There can be no halfway house to be felt or seen. It is all one sided in the way of true belonging in the Lord’s world.  It can never be allowed to eliminate the lives of the honest and good souls that shine for perfection in the true honest ways of behavior.

 It is the combination of too much ego and too much negativity that is unloved and unwanted in the goodness of making an acceptable balanced soul.  The right purpose of becoming fit to live in God’s Kingdom in the next dimension is lost as there is no compatibility except with like-minded souls, who are only fit to become top dogs in a strange and undeserving way.  Only in time can their negativity be conquered by so much love that the negativity is defeated.  Then the goodness is allowed to blossom.

Comfort

 It is to have comfort that appeals to us in the ways of having our comfort.  It is pleasant and we feel no pain.  We have our comfort.  We feel good about it.  When all is said and done, we are able to allow ourselves the positive thoughts that always lead to happiness.  Where there is no negativity, we feel comfortable about our being, because there can be no regrets as all is for the good and all is within the range of comfort.  There are no doubts about it as all is comfortable and we are at ease.

 To be labelled comfortable is a state of being that is often given to patients after an operation when inquiries are made to the nurse and she cares that the patient is comfortable, which means that they are as comfortable as can be expected after the surgery.  They will be on painkillers to remove discomfort, so they will be expected to be as comfortable as possible.  Another definition on being in a comfortable state is to be wealthy enough to be able to afford what one needs and that means they are comfortably off.

 To be comfortably placed is to be able to have enough money to purchase what one requires without having to save up for it.  In this day and age, there are always schemes to allow one to buy the larger and more expensive items and enjoy them.  There’s a down payment or deposit and the rest is paid in comfortable sized payments over the next couple of years, so that the comfort of the item is enjoyed from day one.  This ensures that item is available from the beginning and the saving up for it is in fact after receiving the item in question.  It is a more painless way of getting what you want.

 Life in this modern world is made more comfortable by the various clever schemes that are made attractive to the buyer.  Modern shopping is more often made online, where everything is done through a credit card and the credit check is made so that becomes as comfortable as possible.  There is no temptation to overspend so purchasers know their limits and can enjoy their purchases delivered to their door.  It is a comfort and an easier life once we are established in the knowing of what our needs are.  The goodness of God answers our prayers and makes us comfortable for having lived by Spiritual Law and repays us for doing so.

Victorious

To know that fully all is lost and that all is taken away and the battle between the two sides is lost to one side or the other.  Whoever wins the day is sure to ride away, as they couldn’t have won without help from the other side.  They would be taken away had they been the defeated side of darkness and the other side that caused their light to be extinguished.  In battle it is the numbers who win and not the force of arms.  The e defeated side thought that their case was just, but even so it was to the other side, which won the day.

Some say that God was on their side and others say it was the devil who pushed them to defeat, but it’s our bodies which wins or losses in battle.  There are always losers, as the many dead souls on the ground will testify.  History is written by the winners and it is told with gallantry of the few, who overcame the odds and proved that right was the might that overcame the enemies numbers, who fought and lost the day.  All through the many centuries where battles have been fought, it was the side that declared to have God with them that won the day.

 It is in defeat that the devil losses and God always is said to have won.  How can the winners be the losers when they trust in God?  It is the subsequent peace, when all is said and done, that God must be adjudged to be on the winning side.  He may not have started here, but he must prevail as the clergy will have been for nothing and the prayers said without a hearing.  So, God wins and the devil losses.  This is so that either side have their place and in future wars men can be recruited to the winning side.

It is unlikely that man can be recruited to the dark side, as whatever the century they will have lost, so the conquers think that God and the Church is undefeated.  It will go this way until the winners are consigned to whatever faith they may have and in Holy Wars the winners are the Godly side and write the history to go their way as proof that their God is the victor.  The devil and his demons were conquered.  In their hearts they know this to be true and the losers are punished according to whims of the victors.  God bless the winners for they shall be blessed.

Understanding

 To have understanding is to have access to wisdom that it holds.  It is not always the case that in understanding the truth will emerge.  It is in the understanding that greater use can be made of the facts that are portrayed.  Without understanding there is little point in attempting to go forwards or make any progress.  It is through the knowledge that understanding becomes a reality.  It is from the understanding that greater knowledge can be achieved and by thinking harder it can be achieved.  It is through understanding that the basis of all wisdom is secured.

 It is through a rare gift that future knowledge becomes possible.  The greater understanding is allowed to be known.  Everything worth knowing is built on the basis that are formed from the basic builder’s blocks of further understanding.  There are many levels that can be achieved, but all start from the first vital glimmers of light that are seen in the darkness.  It is not just the light that appears to be about known facts that are one by one built up together to form understanding.

 As youngsters begin their schooling, they must first discover basics, but random pieces of knowledge that teachers can use as building bricks to the greater understanding.  It is as we start to understand that the detail becomes whole in the knowledge of that subject.  In time, these subjects themselves will coalesce bringing a dawning of the greater picture, which will in turn become enlightening.  As Jesus taught in parables, so the simple people could understand his message in such a way that it made sense to the simple folk and they were able to change their outlook on life as they knew it.

 Each parable had a simple message that in itself brought an understanding that wasn’t there before.  These simple stories brought enlightenment where there was little light before, but, as they listened to more parables, the pieces like a jigsaw puzzle started to fall into place.  This is still the way that our Father in Heaven gives us opportunities to do good for others and, by doing so, we begin to understand the greater need and we are shown bigger pieces of the whole, which leads us to further understanding.  We would not reach the greater growth without being prepared in this way of seeking and finding the goodness of God’s teaching.  Our understanding depends on His lessons, as we go through life and understand the need for wisdom.

Imprisonment

 To be in prison is to label yourself a danger to the society and you must be kept there to keep society safe from your behavior.  All manner of misdemeanors are deemed to be punishable by imprisonment from driving offenses to the penalties of more serious charges. Judges have it in their power to exercise to the guilty a form of imprisonment according to the severity of their misdemeanors.  No longer are people held for the grievous kinds of crime prior to execution, as the death sentence no longer applies in this country.

 Prisons are built all around the United Kingdom with various degrees of security and they are even open prisons, where inmates pose little threat to the local people, but are kept there for their own good.  Conditions of security vary from prison to prison and according to the security required for the crime committed.  The main thing is that by being sent to prison, they are deprived of their liberty and they have to get used to being without and deprived of things that to them are now luxuries, but to us are normal and a part of everyday life.

 Lock down has features of depriving citizens of the normal rights of everyday movements, but here it was designed to control the spread of viruses, such as Covid-19, by controlling the happenings of people coming into contact with each other and stopping the spread of the virus through coughs and sneezes.  The wearing of masks, social distancing and frequent washing of hands helped to stops the spread.  All travel between countries brought the holiday and airline industries to a complete halt and severe fines were in place to be given out to those who broke the rules.  Only essential occupations were cleared fit to travel and all hospitality outlets and non-essential shops were closed.

 People felt imprisoned in their own houses and the hospitals and medical centers were swamped with treating infected souls before they died in huge numbers. All civil groups were limited, so that church services, weddings and funerals were kept to a minimum.  Many moved to the online screening of events and started purchasing items from the Internet.  The whole fabric of society was turned on its head.  It gave everybody a new look at life, as schools and universities were closed, so that online teaching was all that was available.  God still managed to help all those who truly asked and Spiritual Law continued to apply.
