Honest

To be honest is to be the sort of person that other people feel they can deal with and even be friends with.  There is a dependability about it and there will be the forming of trust.  This is the basis of all human relationships, where a man and a woman can begin to form an alliance that will go beyond friendship.  It should start in the family home, where parents set an example to their children by showing honesty in all their dealings with people and this will allow the children to follow the example set.  Once children have found the trust in other people, they will be able to build friendships and relationships.  Sadly, they will also discover that not all people are honest.  They will also have to learn this in people’s behavior.

Like attracts like and those who form friendships tend to feel comfortable in the company of like-minded people.  As more time is spent with ones friends, it is possible to learn where and when dependency can be found.  One soon learns that not everybody is what they purport to show themselves to be.  It is a slowly-slowly rate of exchange, whereby one gradually shows oneself to be what one truly is and then, and only then, can one find trustworthy acts of friendship being honestly exchanged.  Those who tend to rush into relationships will find them wanting.  There are too many loose ends that haven’t been tested.

A boy and a girl need to find out about the honesty and meaningfulness of the other’s actions.  Nothing can be taken for granted and, as commitment grows, so must all the questions be suitably answered.  Honest relationships are made, and some time unmade, by one believing in the untruth that comes from the other.  Once honesty has been found to have been broken, there can be no doubt that whatever was conjoined between these two people can never be and should never be continued.  It is the early signs that have to be taken seriously and never allow a person to get away with dishonesty, because they will always feel that they can get away with it again and again.

Where there is unconditional love between two souls the relationship will naturally flourish, because each is doing their best for the other.  There is never a hidden motive.  Everything is honest and above board.  Life can be hard enough without having to sort out the honest from the dishonest.  Any relationship worth its salt is between two givers and so unconditional love can and does apply.  But let a taker in your life and you invite eternal strife until these motives are recognized and the taker is discarded forever more.  They maybe members of your own family, but you cannot allow them to come close, as they will be always attempting to get what they want without any thought for their victim.  Remove them from your life and remember always that honesty is always the best policy.
