The world is full of people trying to disabuse other people of their fanciful ideas. The social media is a good place to start, where not so long ago there was a campaign against the use of vaccine to protect us from the ravages of the Coronavirus. It was reported that it contained various other measures that would affect the life of the receiver, all of which have been proven wrong and people are beginning to realize that they are better off taking the lifesaving vaccine rather than take the risk of those trying to disabuse them. There are always weak-minded people out there who are ill informed and want to believe the nonsense that is handed out to them.
The previous President of the United States, Donald Trump, was a largely uneducated man, who blamed everything he didn’t like on false news. He collected a following of far-right extremists, who believed in conspirator theories and believed almost anything this man said, using social media to snipe and to carp at others more informed than himself. He became a past master at inciting his followers to believe in his ranting and ravings, so that they actually attacked the Capital building in Washington as they correctly declared the results of the American election in favor of the Democrat leader, Jo Biden. Mr Trump had, without any substantial evidence, declared that he had had the election stolen from him and that it was his Republican Party that had won.
It is now a quieter county, as these fanatics were gradually disabused and, although some will rally to him, he has lost the battle of ruling by lies and falsehoods. The present occupier of the White House is well respected and has much experience of politics. He and his Vice President, Kamala Harris, are both doing what is necessary to undo the failings of the last four years, where many Americans died by the inaction of the White House to control the Coronavirus. Jobs were lost. Many people suffered as the disabuse to Trumpism and the conspiracy theories continued to stutter. This man was a showman and relished in his own grandeur. His balloon has been pricked and it is left to the present occupiers of the White House to reunite all Americans. Biden has done more in his first hundred days than Trump achieved in four years of buffoonery.
From outside the United States, there is a feeling of great relief that the man now in charge is humane and Godly in his approach to solving the many problems left behind from inaction and misinformation. Disabuse of past policies has brought a calmness to American allies and where Trump pulled out of matters that he didn’t understand, Biden has returned the United States to acknowledge and work towards solving the vital issues of Global Warming, World Heath Issues and international defense. God moves in mysterious ways sometimes. He shows us what we are too blind to see for ourselves and always he gives us the means of repairing the damage, as long as we are positive enough to disabuse the rubbish and rebuild as He directs for the good of us all.
