This most beautiful yellow flowered plant is a God gifted medicinal adjunct to any home. It has many valued uses and, like all God’s presents to us, should be used where natural remedies bring us safe and lasting relief. This is only one of the many plants that can naturally heal us from our discomforts. It is important to look after all species that occur naturally on this planet to be available when they are needed. Once a plant or animal has become extinct, there is no possibility of it being miraculously recreated. We have to look after what God has given us, especially at this time of Global Warming. Where the conditions across the world are changing so rapidly that they can not only be measured but can be seen. The melting of the ice and the disappearance of glaciers that have been there for centuries is a stark reminder of what there is to come if we don’t figure out all the right ways of slowing it down.
As the temperature of the seawater rises, coral reefs are dying. Among them are species of fish and crustacea that depend on the shelter given and the vital minerals that are needed to keep the symbiotic manner of life alive and well. The ocean covers about two thirds of our planet and yet it is being filled with our plastic waste, which has been calculated to now weigh more than the fish and mammals that occupy it. Many beaches are unusable, because of the plastic waste that is washed ashore. As the plastic is physically broken down into smaller pieces, so a new and frightening word comes into our language and into our food chain. It is micro plastic. We do not know how badly this will affect us when this gets into our bloodstream. What we do know is that it will. Science and medical opinion don’t yet know what it will do to us. This may not be a problem for our generation. It certainly will be for those who come after us.
The delicate little yellow flower that we started with has to face the air pollution that is increasing all around the world. Those cities that are used to it and their population have to wear masks for their own health, must understand that this pollution is only removed by the prevailing winds. They simply move it on into cleaner air, so that the cities then can fill with their own pollution. People are so narrow minded. They only believe in what affects them directly. They are unable to see the global tsunamis that will land on their doorstep. As long as they have their 4x4 to take their children to school they think that all is well with the world. Let everybody start to see their place in the Global structure and the mighty force that is God’s.
It is important that everyone starts to take responsibility for their actions and stops relying on the effectiveness of the advertisers on the screens of their mobiles and their television screens to inform us what is necessary to do our best for God’s will. The religions lost their battle with the Spirit long ago. Mankind’s only hope is to listen to that inner voice that appeals to them, as God talks to the unconscious mind, that listens but doesn’t understand the mighty power of the Almighty. He has lost patience with this world before and can do so again if we fail to do His will. We must all come together and try and make a worthwhile effort to see what is right and proper. We need to go back to basics and fallow His commandments or else we will be swept away. God gave us freewill and so we have no cause for complaint. We can if we choose to become that Evening Primrose and heal the pains of humanity or we can perish if we ignore them.
