Honor

To do things for the right reasons to honor the codes of goodness is to honor the righteousness of all good things.  To have honor is to be equipped with all possible actions and to disallow all negativity.  Then to be able to be seen acting in the light of God’s codes is to be honorable.  Honor is one of the highest standards of chivalry.  There can be no standards higher.  That would demand the very beings of the highest code.  The very nature of things is called into being as the best estate of moral and loving standards.

To be held to account of all right thinking and actions that cannot be bested by any other standard.  It is an honorable estate in all houses and the knighthood practices of being described as being done in honor and cannot be held to a higher state of morality and behavior.  Honor, where perceived is not answerable to any higher standard of behavior because there is nothing higher.  The knights of old placed this honor above all actions.  If that honor was in any way defiled, they were no longer worthy of searching the purest quests.  They could not search for the Holy Grail.  To do so was to be pure and honorable and to be beyond any question of impurity.

The office to which they aspired was beyond any other standard.  It was Christ-like and worthy of being next to God.  Ones honor was ones passport to be able to sit at the right-hand side of God Himself.   To earn the accolade, one had to be pure of heart and mind.  Ones actions are seen to be faultless and no shadow could fall across the purity of God’s light and love.  The very thought of anything impure was measured against the goodness of Jesus and would be in itself a dishonorable act.

Honor is its own reward being mentally perfect without any other desire or reward considered.  Honor is its own reward and requires no other.  Judgement is unsullied by mitigation or reasons for lines of behavior.  To be honored is to be accepted with purity.  It has a virginal quality about it, because it is untouched or stained by the very abnormalities of life.  Purity, like a snowflake, is unsullied and accepted as such, without having to prove anything.  It just is the highest estate of God’s love given without question.
