Rightfulness

This is an almost saintly state of being.  There is no negativity here and all is goodness and light.  To have rightfulness is to have godly properties.  It is holy in concept and execution.  To be so called is to have achieved the highest of one’s calling.  It is what the disciples eventually achieved after been taught by the Master Jesus after his return to them.  He taught them the ways of the Lord, so that they were worthy of teaching the people.  They had to be pure in mind and body to be allowed to teach as the Master had taught.  His wife, Mary Magdalene, had always sat at the feet of Jesus and had become his greatest follower, so she was already equipped with rightfulness when she went and taught the Gospel in France.

The disciples were always jealous of Mary, because Jesus loved Mary more than all of the rest of the band of his following.  When she had gone into hiding for her own safety and that of her unborn child, Jesus came to the disciples and taught that in righteousness what they needed to know and understand.  They all split up eventually and went their separate ways.  Partly because they felt it was safer and partly to be able to spread the Good News or Gospel to more people.  They knew that the Jews had spies everywhere and the Romans had soldiers all across the Empire.  It was not long before they were caught and executed.

But the message had to be got out and, without social media, the Gospels had to be spread by word of mouth. They were to be written later, some seventy to one hundred years after the death of Jesus, when it became safer and Christianity became more popular.  Then the exiles wrote about what could be remembered about the life and works of Jesus.  The Spirit of the Christ would have helped to procure the many different Gospels that told of the rightfulness of Christ’s life.

He came to lead the people, not with an army and the sword, but with words and actions of love.  His message has still endured to this day and we all try to carry his cross by helping those who are in need.  This world is full of causes and people who need helping.  We give our time to the Spirit, who guides us along our pathway of love and help those who call out for God’s help.  Often, they have reached the bottom of endurance and they are given healing by those who are chosen to ease their pain.  When they are ready, they too can help others, who in turn need to feel that love to carry them through a life of rightfulness.
