Rest in Peace

We always see everything from an earthly point of view.  When a soul passes away from the pain and difficulties of this life we tend to say, “Rest in Peace” believing that they will be in God’s hands now and they will be sleeping in peace.  What we see is the body cold and resting and we expect that state of being to remain as they are placed in eternal rest.  This is only a bodily state and we must prepare ourselves for the loss of life that has gone.  We don’t know for sure that the life that was is any different now.  We simply see that all mobility has been lost and earthly functions have stopped.

The life we knew has ceased to exist.  Whether there was a long illness or a short one the life we knew is no more and we try and comfort ourselves that there is no more suffering.  We can see nothing more than peacefulness.  That is our comfort and the reality of passing of the soul that God gave, God has now taken away.  God gave a life and God took back that life to exist in Heaven or Hell according to the blemishes of earthly judgement.  We cannot judge and it is not for us to do so.  We simply comfort ourselves that the love that we had will be renewed in the next stage of existence and that love conquers all.

That life that God gave cannot be extinguished, but remains out of the body, which is unable to carry it.  We cannot believe in the extinguishing of life but know that it continues beyond this earthly plane.  Some of us are blessed by having proof and there are messages of existence if only we can believe them and why not indeed. God is love and God isn’t cruel enough to snuff out what he has created and leave alone those grieving for the soul that we loved now departed forever more.

It cannot be that the gift of life is gone forever.  It isn’t!  We know in our hearts that the sensitives of this world are able to be contacted by the soul that has now gone. That soul is in a different form and has no earthly pain from that old worn-out bodily existence and they are blessed with happiness and, having led a good life, are able to live in God’s light and be with those who went before.  We need to be pleased for them as we await our turn to be at one in a state of peacefulness, not floating on a cloud, but existing with purpose.  Living in love with all good things and helping life to carry on in the best way possible, which is helping each other to enjoy unconditional love without end.
