Patience

There are many things that turn out badly, because they didn’t have the patience to wait until the time was right.  Rushing into a situation doesn’t do anybody any good.  To wait until one can see the probable results clearly, is the time to see whether it is the right pathway to take.  Initially the matter may rest on what one wants rather than what one needs.  To see your way clearly is to be certain of the results.  Patience is a necessary option in life.  It brings one its own satisfactory conclusions.

To be allowed the time to think matters out before rushing into a situation brings its own rewards.  To await the outcome and move when things are settled, saves the embarrassing state of getting things wrong.  It is all very well when trying to do the right thing that inadvertently gets the timing wrong and has to admit that a rushed job is almost always a botched job.  To have pride in what one does is to take ones time and to smooth out the little wrinkles which impede perfection.  A well thought plan of action will be more likely to succeed and the resultant ending to be a success.

Once upon a time is the beginning of many a happy story that emanates one’s mind bringing the attention into focus.  So, it is with any well thought out action or plan when it is able to see alternatives and prepare for them.  Doing the right thing is always a matter of thinking it out first.  Seeing a damsel in distress may be to follow one’s instinct and patiently move into a position of kindness and help.  Rushing in too quickly can result in the wrong outcome, as the situation may be different from a closer examination.  By wanting to do good the wrong signals may be sent out.

The way one is seen by others is not always the way one wants to be seen.  By a patient approval to accept a situation before it is too late is a more acceptable measure of success.  Only in hindsight can one see the true results of ones actions.  To pray for guidance for what one needs is more fruitful that asking for what one wants.  It is the true nature behind the request that only God can judge.  There are always many ramifications to an action that effects not only asking for, but in doing so.  If given, it will affect the lives of many souls around one.  It is not just a question of taking a problem away but being shown how to deal with it for the greater good.  God always sees the way and gives us what we need.
