Trustworthy

One of the most valued of assets is trust.  It is the most valuable part of friendship and holds together any union between one lady and another person.  Without it there can be no lasting relationship.  Marriage is built on trust and without it, when broken just once, it cannot be repaired.  To let your partner down for whatever reason, is to break the love that was formed at the very beginning of the relationship.  The link in the chain of security is gone.  The reason for it can be many and varied but put simply it is the bedrock of the union and it can never be replaced.

Once broken, the belief and loyalty have been severely damaged.  There is a weakness that is always likely to break open again.  When one is looking at a relationship of any seriousness, the question must be asked, “Can I trust?”  There are always little signs that answer the question.  It takes very little to erase the cement of the affair that will be changed for good.  Any person who is labelled untrustworthy has no future in any serious affair, be it in a perceived one of living together or in a marriage or as in a career of holding down a job within a firm or company.

At the very heart of it all is a matter of trust.  Does that person come up to the mark of being trustworthy?  The answer is always a definite one and the answer is either yes or no!  There is no in-between state because when the chips are down one has to be able to rely on that person to behave in the right and proper way.  They need to be dependable and reliable.  There is in life a measure of acceptability to which one must be able to be measured.  It is according to this state of being that a person must be able to come up to the plate and be known for their dependability.  This behavior must be known beforehand that they will not let the side down.

The most important relationship is with God.  He has given a code of conduct that has a definite side of right and wrong.  There is not a halfway that is acceptable.  There is no excuse.  One measures up in this life to be judged as living the right way in God’s eyes or not.  The heavenly judgment is a thumbs up or a thumbs down.  We are given situations on our earthly path that we need to acknowledge and act upon.  We will respond correctly or not and there is never a halfway house.  We all have good intentions, but do we follow them with the right degree of courage at these moments when we are asked to be trustworthy.  Do we lapse into a state of not being trustworthy and walk by on the other side knowing that we displease God and that we fear an earthly solution?  We must love God and do His will if we want to succeed.
